The Nösund waterfront project

The Nösund Association works hard to develop the small community on northwestern Orust and will build a gangway in the form of a dock along the outside of the mountain, right along the shoreline. The gangway improves accessibility to the sea and makes it possible to get from the Northern harbor to Grunda beach. It should be possible for anyone to walk all the way out to the diving tower without having to cross the mountain as one needs to do today. The dock is of course constructed to withstand weather and wind and provides an opportunity for an outdoor experience in the magnificent nature of the area. The support from Leader Bohuslän is a co-financing of the project which also receives funding from Nösund's Sea Hotel. The project is part of a larger vision to preserve Nösund's cultural-historical environment and promote an inclusive atmosphere for both residents and visitors.
