The project aims to develop a sustainable meeting place where cultural heritage, sustainability, and tourism intertwine. By collaborating with other local actors, the project strives to create a destination for visitors that prioritizes local quality. ”We want to offer a place where people can be inspired and learn new things, while also contributing to activities during the quieter months of the year. Small-scale is our strength, and we want to provide genuine and sustainable experiences rooted in the local cultural heritage,” says Andrea Hartmann Jovell. The experiences they have in building preservation, as well as the knowledge of sustainable tourism, food craftsmanship, and hospitality that they acquire through the project, will be shared with entrepreneurs and the public through workshops and small-scale events at the site. In this way, the project creates an arena for education, entrepreneurship, and recreation year-round.
