The Leisure Bureau – with more boxes than a tourist office

The Svanesund Association wants to develop a Leisure Bureau, which means a gathering place for all ongoing activities in Svanesund. In addition to the second-hand store that the association operates, they also want to implement a meeting place where information regarding all activities in Svanesund is collected and can be distributed. The association wants, in addition to a meeting place, to invest in a digital sign where information about current events in the municipality will be displayed. The sign will be installed at the entrance to Svanesund so that all passing motorists can access information about activities.  

The purpose of the project is to attract even more visitors and new residents by showing that a small community can be packed with activities. This also applies to part-time residents who may have difficulty finding the right activities; the same applies to associations that can direct their information beyond their members and out to the public. Svanesund wants to share its long history of cohesion and invite others to take part in the community.
