Hönö Outdoor Tennis – smash it!

Hönö Tennis & Padel Club has been granted funds for a new outdoor tennis court with associated nets and bleachers.

The project aims to improve training opportunities and retain and develop junior and competitive players within the club by offering them opportunities to train outdoors. This will also enable participation in league play and tournaments during the outdoor season. The tennis court will allow for competitions from spring to autumn as well as the organization of summer camps for both children and adults. The bleachers to be built will become a gathering place where spectators can watch tennis and socialize with each other.

Hönö is a popular destination and with the opportunity to play tennis during their stay, it is hoped to attract more visitors. Accommodations will benefit from being able to offer additional activities for their visitors, and the tourism industry in the area will be strengthened.
