Koster's Future was granted nearly 750,000 kronor to drive an initiative to revitalize the tourism industry and extend the season. By strengthening collaboration between local actors and establishing a more sustainable tourism model, the project aims to make Koster an attractive year-round destination. In the project, businesses on the Koster Islands will be able to participate in local events with various themes to further strengthen their skills and form important and rewarding networks where they collectively support each other and can collaborate and organize beach clean-ups, art tours, and music festivals together. They will be part of a joint marketing effort and be included in a digital platform. The aim is to increase the quality of life for both residents and visitors, while also creating more job opportunities.
