About the micro support

Food network in Bohuslän is one of our micro grants. Micro grants involve less administration and a faster application and decision-making process compared to applying for leader support for a more extensive initiative.

The aim is to strengthen local and resilient food production in Bohuslän by offering support to associations or other organizations that work for broader collaboration within food production. The micro-support will enable initiatives that develop joint solutions and improve the production, logistics and sales of locally produced food.

The goal is that at least 5 micro-projects should have been implemented with a connection to local resilient food production.

What can you seek support for?

It is possible to seek support for, for example:

• Development of joint sales channels
• Knowledge dissemination and education
• Marketing efforts
• Seminar/lectures/events
• Efforts to make local food accessible and visible to consumers
• Development of local logistics and distribution

Who can apply for the support?

Applicants can be an association, non-profit organization or an association of food companies that want to seek support for joint efforts that promote food production in Bohuslän.

When can you apply?

Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis as long as there is money left to distribute. Please contact us in the Leader Team before you start an application, we will listen to your idea and guide you so that the application is done correctly.

Recipes for local harvests

Six vegetable growers are joining forces with local food creators in Bohuslän to develop at least 25 inspiring and seasonal recipes that show how locally grown vegetables can be easily used in everyday meals. Through professional photos, presentations and a digital recipe bank, the recipes will be distributed to consumers via farm shops, social media and newsletters. The project strengthens the collaboration between growers and chefs, reduces food waste and increases knowledge about eating according to season. It is a concrete and sustainable initiative that promotes local food production and inspires a more resilient food system. The effort has strong local roots and is based on what is actually harvested here and now.

Film about Tanum's green industries

Several agricultural companies in Tanum are collaborating with the municipality to create a short film that highlights the municipality's green industries - from livestock farming and crop production to animal husbandry and landscape maintenance. The aim is to highlight the importance of agriculture for local livelihoods, biodiversity and employment. The film is aimed at young people preparing for their education choices, residents and business stakeholders and is intended to arouse curiosity, pride and increased understanding. The material will be distributed via schools, social media and the municipality's websites, and help to make more people aware of the opportunities in agriculture and rural development. By using film as a medium, the project aims to create a long-term impact and strengthen the relationship between the municipality and the green industries in an innovative way.
