Microgrant: Young in Bohuslän

The microgrant Young in Bohuslän has made it possible for young people to apply for support to run their own projects.

About the micro support

Young in Bohuslän was a microgrant created during the previous program period within the associations Leader Southern Bohuslän and Leader Bohus Coast and Border Area. This microgrant was specifically aimed at young people aged 13–26 in the municipalities of Uddevalla (rural), Orust, Tjörn, Stenungsund, Kungälv, Öckerö, and Gothenburg's southern archipelago. Young in Bohuslän aimed to contribute financial support for young people's engagement in rural areas with up to 30,000 SEK.

We have no funds left to distribute and we are incredibly pleased with all the youth projects that have been created!

What have young people aged 13-26 been able to apply for?

  • youth concert and music events
  • create meeting places for young people
  • try out activities and workshops
  • motor and epaträff
  • movie night
  • fishing, hiking, and outdoor activities
  • sports events
  • graffiti workshop and exhibition
  • LAN

And much more..

Who has been able to apply for the support?

Young people aged 13-26 living in any of our municipalities together with their friends have been able to apply for support. It has also been possible for youth sections, youth councils, or a group of young people to apply with support from youth centers, associations, or private individuals.

We have seen that it has been an advantage if the project group has had a supportive party such as engaged adults, an association, or another organization.

When has it been possible to apply?

From 2022 to 2024, it has been possible to apply for support to implement ideas in Bohuslän.
