A Thousand Years of Herring
Few things are as associated with Bohuslän as the herring. The herring has not only filled the stomach but also shaped the landscape, culture, and economy in Bohuslän. Now a four-part documentary series is being made that tells the entire rich history, from the Middle Ages to today. The series will be available via YouTube and will also be shared at museums. Lightray Productions receives 279,270 kronor for the project which is done together with The Herring's House, Hönö Fishing Museum and Klädesholmen's Museum.
