Bohuslän cliffs and our salty wonderful water are fantastic, but most people can also testify to slippery rocks and sharp barnacles that make it difficult to get in and out of the water. Käringön is no exception when it comes to these challenges, but the Käringön Sports and Leisure Association has a solution for this. With a new fixed stable bridge and a long-awaited diving tower, they are developing the beach at Ö-viken to accommodate many more. Swimming school will be held there, and the fixed bridge makes it possible to take a dip even in winter. The fixed bridge has less impact on the sensitive eelgrass than a floating bridge would have had.
