Water as a local climate regulator

Is water the climate key we have been waiting for? Collaboration creates conditions and new approaches, and this has been taken up by the Swedish Association of Adult Education Väst, LRF Tjörn, LRF Orust, Umställning Tjörn, Orust's Cycle Academy and Egnahemsfabriken, among others. Together, they will run a three-year project in which they want to investigate and highlight the possibilities of working with water and the landscape to counteract climate change. The starting point is that water vapor is the largest greenhouse gas and the water cycle through land and atmosphere has a temperature-regulating effect. They will collect facts in collaboration with Chalmers and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, organize networking meetings, lectures and courses to inspire the public and industry to do what they can in their own garden, agriculture, forestry or business to cool and balance the climate.
