From rod to plate

In recreational fishing, there is an underutilized preparedness resource. The interest in fishing is great among
Sweden's population, but few have knowledge of how to prepare their own caught fish. This is what Anders Nicander, together with Studiefrämjandet Väst, wants to change by organizing workshops and lectures throughout Bohuslän on the subject. The workshops are designed so that participants catch their fish to then clean, fillet, and prepare it. In this way, participants' ability to contribute to their own food supply is strengthened. The project is based in Ljungskile in Uddevalla municipality.
