Leader Bohuslän is a non-profit association that works with rural development in eleven of Bohuslän's municipalities by granting project support based on the leader method. With us, you can apply for financial support for projects that fall within one of our three intervention areas.

Leader Bohuslän
Leader Bohuslän stretches from Strömstad in the north to Gothenburg's southern archipelago in the south and is one of 40 leader areas in Sweden.
We at Leader Bohuslän believe that you who live and work in a place know what needs to be developed and how it can be done in the best way. Does your association, your company, or your organization have an idea that in some way leads to the development of Bohuslän? We can help if you want to develop and realize it!
Leader Bohuslän aims to implement the approved strategy for Leader Bohuslän in a professional, qualitative, and cost-effective manner.
The goal of Leader Bohuslän's activities is that the LAG's board and staff should have:
• disseminated information about the activities to the public, to potential project applicants and partners
• assessed and decided on project priorities based on the local development strategy
• provided guidance and support to project owners so that they can achieve a desired and optimal result
• followed up and evaluated the leader area's approved projects and their results

The board
The joint LAG board prioritizes among applications that strive to achieve our local goals. It includes representatives from the private, non-profit, and public sectors.
Bottom-up perspective, innovation, and collaboration are key principles for an intervention that can be granted project support to help realize the local development strategy.
With the foundation in the fantastic opportunities of Bohuslän, we leverage Leaders' large European network and create sustainable results that have effects in harmony with Västra Götaland's actors and the regional development strategy.
