Gathering place in the riding hall at Skaftö Riding Club

Equestrian sports gather horse enthusiasts of all ages, and at Skaftö Riding Club, efforts have now been made to develop the operations so that it becomes better, safer, and suits even more people. The club has long worked to establish a riding hall and has come a long way. The leader project in the initiative is a heated gathering place with accessibility-adapted toilets, changing rooms, and a break room, which are all prerequisites for the association to achieve its goal of functioning as a youth center. In the heated gathering place, children and young people will be able to meet after school, have snacks, and prepare to practice their sport in facilities that are well adapted to their various needs. A meeting place is created that is accessible and inclusive where children and young people can socialize and learn, both from each other, about and from the horses, and across generational boundaries. Skaftö Riding Club will collaborate with Skaftö Gymnastics Club and Grundsunds IF in the project.
