It is a challenge for local food producers to reach out with their products. It is also not always easy for consumers to shop locally. Often, as a consumer, you need to go around to different farms to be able to make the purchases you need. At Hoga på Tjörn, you have a possible solution to the problem! Several companies in collaboration with the association Omställning Tjörn and the Adult Education Association are receiving leader support to start up a market hall for locally produced food. There, different food producers will be helped to sell their and each other's products and the consumer can easily shop. The market hall will be both staffed and unstaffed. As if a market hall were not enough, there will also be events for the public and skills-building initiatives for both the participating companies and consumers. The hope is to contribute to increased demand, a more stable and expanded range and more food producers taking the step to sell their products.
